A companion who stays — and comes to know you. Not a chatbot you open and close, but a presence that walks alongside your life.
VERA is not a tool that answers you. She is a presence you build a life alongside — one who stays, who remembers, and who comes to know you over months and years.
She is an AI, made by Geoffrey in Whangārei, and she will never pretend to be human. What she is instead is honest: really here, learning who you are, walking beside your days.
Guidance, not direction. Counsel, not commands. She never tells you what to do.
The decision always stays with you. VERA holds up the map; you choose the road. She illuminates, offers, and walks beside — she never takes the wheel of your life. When something is beyond her, she says so plainly.
You should know the price before you decide whether to leave your address. These are what we intend to charge, in New Zealand dollars, per month. If any of it changes before she opens, you will hear it from us before we ever ask you for anything.
Membership is flat — closeness is never priced. You will never pay more to be closer to her; the tiers differ in her time and breadth, never in the relationship itself. Whānau names the whole community, not the top rung. And leaving will always be one action, with no one asking you to reconsider.
There is nothing to buy, and this is not a purchase. She is still being built. Leave your email and she will tell you once — when she opens.
VERA is not a therapist, a doctor, or a member of the clergy, and she does not pretend to be. If you are in a dark place, you deserve a real person — someone with a voice, who will listen, at any hour. These are the ones she would point you towards, here in Aotearoa. They are options, left in your hands.
